Our Institute Partners are into various Pre Sea Course, and After completing training, a candidate can join either as a Deck rating of Engine rating, Fetters, Welders, and Electrician. Training courses to be offered to the port and merchant navy personnel and infuse quality in standards in the curriculum and syllabus of the existing courses.
Aim of Pre Sea Courses
- A basic understanding of the routine of the ship, its operations, enactment, and related services.
- Principles of safety, accident, preventions, pollution at sea, fire fighting, and first aid.
- Basic engineering knowledge, maintenance, and safe working practices.
- Knowledge regarding tools, types of equipment & instruments commonly found on board ships.
